Cinco De Mayo Full of Color!

Photoshoot Inspired by Anything But Gray Events

Grab a friend in real life, on Zoom/FaceTime/Skype/Houseparty, a cold drink, put out some fun decorations, and add some festive latin music and celebrate life. Celebrations, music, sunshine all help keep your immune system strong! Being in a positive state has significant impact on your motivation, productivity, and wellbeing. - The Utopian Life

Cinco de Mayo was first celebrated in the United States in 1863 in Southern California. The celebration was in support of solidarity with Mexico against French rule. By the 1930s the holiday became an opportunity to celebrate Mexican identity, promote ethnic consciousness and build community solidarity. I love the diversity of Southern California and Los Angeles and am proud to have been an Angeleno since 1979!
